The short answer
Get your official Amazon pay stub first. Employees open the A to Z app, tap Pay, then Pay Statements. Amazon Flex drivers use the earnings screens in the Flex app and a 1099 form. Former employees can use a password reset or ask payroll and HR for copies. The best Amazon pay stub generator is one that builds an honest record from your real figures. No generator can issue an official Amazon document.
You need an Amazon pay stub, or at least a pay stub from Amazon that proves what you earned. Maybe a landlord asked for it. Maybe you left the job and lost your login. Or maybe you drive for Amazon Flex and have never seen a stub at all.
Search online and you will find sites that promise an Amazon paycheck stub generator or an Amazon pay stub copy generator. Some of them make big claims. Before you use any of them, you should know what is real, what is official, and what can get you in trouble.
This guide covers all of it. You will learn where each type of Amazon worker finds their pay stubs, what an Amazon pay stub looks like, and what to look for in a generator. You will also see the honest rules for using one.
Which kind of Amazon worker are you?
Your pay records depend on how you work for Amazon. The three most common types get very different paperwork.
| Worker type | How you are paid | Where your records live | Year end form |
| Amazon employee, warehouse or corporate | Employee pay with taxes withheld | The A to Z app and website | W2 |
| Delivery Service Partner driver | Employee of the DSP company | Often A to Z, but your DSP employer may use its own payroll | W2 from the DSP |
| Amazon Flex driver | Independent contractor, no tax withheld | The earnings screens in the Flex app | 1099 NEC, if you reach the limit |
| Former Amazon employee | Past employee | Payroll or HR, and sometimes your old login | W2 for each year worked |

How to get your official Amazon pay stub
If you work for Amazon now, your Amazon pay stubs are free and fast. Do this first.
- Open the A to Z app. Use the work app, not the Amazon shopping app. You can also use the A to Z website.
- Sign in. Use your employee login. If you forgot it, use the reset option.
- Tap Pay. Then choose Pay Statements.
- Pick a pay period. Open the stub, then download or print it.
Amazon paystubs usually show up a day or two after payday. A to Z keeps a limited history, so save a PDF every few weeks. Do not wait until a landlord asks.

Start your stub now
Once you leave, your login may stop working. That does not mean your records are gone. Employers must keep payroll records for years, and a former Amazon employee can ask for them. Here is the order to try:
- Try your old A to Z login. Use the password reset. Access may still work for a short time after you leave.
- Send a written request. Email or write to Amazon payroll or HR. Give your full name, your employee ID if you know it, your dates of work and the pay periods you need. Keep a copy.
- Call the Employee Resource Center. Many guides list it at 888 892 7180. Check Amazon's current contact page before you call. Have your employee ID or the last four digits of your Social Security number ready.
- Ask where your W2 is delivered. Guides point to Amazon's own employee login and to its payroll provider's website, and the answer can differ by year and job. The Employee Resource Center can tell you where yours is.
- Use other proof while you wait. Bank statements show every payroll deposit. See eight papers that show what you earn.

Amazon Flex driver pay records
Amazon Flex drivers are independent contractors. That means no one withholds tax, and Amazon does not issue a traditional pay stub. You get these instead:
- Earnings summaries. Open the Flex app and check the Earnings area for weekly totals. Download them often, since the app shows limited history.
- A 1099 NEC. Amazon posts it in the Flex app under tax information, and on Amazon's tax center site, usually by late January.
- Bank deposits. Your direct deposits match your earnings and back up everything else.
The reporting limit changed. For payments made in 2025, the 1099 NEC limit was $600. For payments made in 2026, it is $2,000. All income is taxable from the first dollar, even when no form arrives.
Many Flex drivers build their own earnings record from these figures when a landlord or lender asks for stubs. Here is a sample week, with made up figures:
| Delivery block | Earnings |
| Block 1 | $76.00 |
| Block 2 | $92.00 |
| Block 3 | $68.00 |
| Block 4 | $84.00 |
| Tax withheld | $0.00 |
| Total earnings for the week | $320.00 |
This driver still owes about $45 in self employment tax on that week alone, before income tax. Set money aside. For more on this, see a guide for app drivers and couriers.
What an Amazon pay stub looks like
People search for Amazon paystub examples to know what to expect. The exact design changes over time, so your own A to Z statement is the best model. But a pay stub for an employee follows the same basic pattern everywhere. Here is a sample with made up figures. It is not an Amazon document.
| Section | What it shows | Sample |
| Header | Employer name, your name, pay period and pay date | Weekly |
| Hours and rate | 40 hours at $19.00 | $760.00 |
| Federal income tax | Estimate for a single filer | $49.28 |
| Social Security | 6.2 percent of gross pay | $47.12 |
| Medicare | 1.45 percent of gross pay | $11.02 |
| Net pay | What lands in your bank account | $652.58 |
| Year to date | Running totals since January 1, such as gross pay after ten pay periods | $7,600.00 |
The figures above are an example for a state with no income tax. Do not use them as Amazon pay rates. Real withholding depends on your W4 and your state.
To understand each line, see a plain look at every part of a stub, where each deduction comes from and how running totals are built. To learn the math for hourly work, read the hourly pay formulas.
What makes the best generator
Now to the question in the title. A generator cannot create an official Amazon pay stub. Only Amazon and its payroll systems do that. What a good generator does is build a clear record of your real earnings when the official one is out of reach. People search for this as an Amazon pay stub generator, an Amazon paycheck stub generator or a pay stub copy creator for Amazon. They are all the same kind of tool. Use this checklist to judge them:
| Check this | A good sign | A red flag |
| Honesty | Says plainly it cannot issue an official employer document | Promises an exact Amazon copy or a verified Amazon stub |
| Branding | Neutral layout with no Amazon logo | Uses Amazon logos or copies its layout |
| Preview | Full free preview before you pay | Pay first, see later |
| Tax math | Current rules for your state, with year to date totals | No state or tax year shown |
| Contractor option | Lets you show no withholding for Flex income | Forces tax lines on every stub |
| Price | One clear price, no auto renewing plan | Low headline price with fees later |
| Fixes | A stated way to correct typos | No contact page or policy |

Templates versus a generator
You will also see Amazon pay stub templates and an Amazon check stub online. A blank template is fine for people who know payroll math, since you work out every tax yourself. Be careful with any template that copies Amazon's name or look. A generator does the tax math for you. Sample layouts to look at shows neutral designs you can compare.
Rules for using one honestly
Real numbers only. A record built from true figures is a normal summary of earnings. A stub built from made up pay to win a lease or a loan is fraud, no matter which tool made it.
Never pass it off as Amazon's. A record you make is not an official Amazon document. Do not add Amazon logos, copy its layout or tell anyone it came from Amazon payroll.
- Keep the official papers. Hand over bank statements, W2 forms or 1099 forms along with anything you make.
- Describe it correctly. Call it an income summary or an earnings record that you prepared from your own records.
- Expect checks. Many lenders and landlords verify income with the employer or a verification service, and compare stubs with bank deposits.
- Match the facts. Hours, rates and totals should line up with your deposits.
Learn what lenders and landlords want in what a lender expects to see and how many stubs a rental application asks for.
Generating an Amazon pay stub record: how to create it
- Gather your real numbers. Use your A to Z statements, Flex earnings, W2 or 1099, and bank deposits.
- Pick the right type. Employees use their filing status and real pay. Flex drivers tick the Contractor box, since no tax was withheld. Pick your state and pay period.
- Name the payer truthfully and keep it neutral. Do not add logos. For every field explained, see the full eight step walkthrough.
- Preview it for free. Check each line against your records.

Payroll and HR: who to ask for what
At a big company, payroll and HR split the work. Payroll turns your hours into pay, taxes and stubs. HR handles hiring, benefits and employee records. At Amazon, many questions start at the Employee Resource Center. If you work for a Delivery Service Partner, your employer is that company, so HR payroll questions may go to the DSP owner first. In a small DSP, one payroll HR person may do both jobs.
| Your problem | Start with |
| Pay looks wrong | Payroll, through the Employee Resource Center or your DSP |
| Cannot find a stub | A to Z first, then payroll |
| Need a W2 | Payroll, or the site they point you to |
| Benefits or leave question | HR |
| Flex earnings or 1099 | The Flex app and Amazon's tax center |

Mistakes to avoid
- Paying for a stub you can get free. Check A to Z or the Flex app first.
- Using an Amazon logo. It can mislead and break trademark rules.
- Guessing at numbers. Use statements and deposits.
- Treating a Flex 1099 as a paycheck. It shows yearly totals before expenses.
- Waiting too long. Download PDFs every few weeks.
Questions people ask
How do I get my Amazon pay stub?
Current Amazon employees open the A to Z app or the A to Z website, go to Pay, and choose Pay Statements. Pick the pay period and download or print it. Stubs usually appear a day or two after payday.
How can a former Amazon employee get old pay stubs?
Try your old A to Z login and a password reset first. If you are locked out, send a written request to Amazon payroll or HR, or call the Amazon Employee Resource Center. Ask for copies of your pay statements and your W2, and have your employee ID or the last four digits of your Social Security number ready.
Does Amazon Flex give pay stubs?
No. Amazon Flex drivers are independent contractors. You get earnings summaries in the Flex app and a 1099 NEC tax form after the year ends if you reach the reporting limit. Many drivers use those figures to build their own record of income.
What does an Amazon pay stub look like?
A typical employee pay statement shows the employer name, your name, the pay period and pay date, hours and rate, gross pay, each tax and deduction, net pay and year to date totals. Exact layouts change, so use your own A to Z statement as the model.
Is there an Amazon pay stub generator I can use?
Online pay stub generators exist, including ours, but none can issue an official Amazon document. A generator builds a record from figures you enter. Use real numbers, label it as a record you prepared, and keep your official Amazon papers as backup.
Can I use a made stub with the Amazon logo?
No. Do not copy Amazon logos or layouts. That can mislead the person reading it and may break trademark rules. A record you prepare yourself should not pretend to be an official Amazon document.
Where do I find my Amazon W2?
Current workers usually find it through their Amazon employee login. Guides also point to Amazon's payroll provider portal for W2 forms. If you cannot get in, contact the Amazon Employee Resource Center and ask where your W2 is delivered. Employers must send W2 forms by January 31.
Who handles payroll and HR for Amazon workers?
Amazon employees are supported by company payroll and HR teams, often through the Employee Resource Center. If you work for a Delivery Service Partner, your employer is that company, so payroll and HR questions may go to the DSP owner first.
Will a landlord or lender accept a stub I made for Amazon income?
Some do when the numbers are real and match your bank deposits, W2 or 1099. Many also verify income with the employer or a verification service, so a stub is never a substitute for official records. Never present a made stub as an Amazon document.
The bottom line
Start with the official routes. They are free, and they are the records that carry the most weight. If you cannot reach them in time, a generator can help you build a clear record from your real numbers. Pick one that is honest about what it is, test it with your own figures, and keep your bank statements and tax forms close.
When you are ready, you can build yours, check every line and pay only when it matches your records.
